Fun Findings in a Parking Lot

Last night my friends and I went to Denny’s (a primarily breakfast diner that is open 24/7) at like…midnight. Blah blah blah, skip the boring parts, we are going to leave, but my friend left his car lights on and his battery is almost dead. So0o0 we are stranded there, in the parking lot, far away form any of our friends who can come give us a jump. Which means we are DOOMED. But not really.

We decided to wait a while to see if his battery would come back, since it wasn’t totally dead. There were some trees next to the parking lot, so I tried climbing them for a while. Except I didn’t really want to get all up in the tree’s foliage, so I kinda just grabbed low branches and hung there.

While exploring the parking lot and surrounding area, I saw some paper on the ground, near where we were parked. I decided to investigate and picked the paper up to check it out. Well, to my surprise, they were hospital discharge papers and a few prescriptions! So that was weird. But it got weirder. Near the abandoned papers was a prescription bottle, that was empty. What was it for, you ask? Well, readers, it was a bottle of Oxycodone! A pain killer popularly sold on the streets and abused by drug users. When was it prescribed and for what quantity? It was prescribed THAT DAY and for FIFTEEN tablets!

Now, I formed a few hypotheses from my investigations (I am like a detective, foreal). Number one, some of the hipsters that parked near us like to abuse pain meds and took the oxycodones. For funsies. Number two, one of the hipsters is selling the oxycodone.

EITHER WAY, I accidentally stumbled upon the remains of illicit drug usage. So that was fun. And then our waitress gave us a jump and we left.

We probably should have left her a bigger tip, since she saved us. But, uh, we didn’t. Hey, we left her 16% gratuity tip! I have no money. Yeah.
