I wanna be the very BEST
It might look like I haven’t blogged in 10 days. And that’s because I haven’t. WHOOPS. And now I am worried that Clem is going to beat me up. Please don’t Clem! I am blogging now!
The reason I haven’t been blogging is because I’ve been doing things, but nothing really worth mentioning. It’s all boring. Do you guys want to read about me hanging out with my friends and doing nothing exciting? Do you want to read about babysitting my sister? Do you want to hear about me going to my high school and doing Zumba? No! Well, maybe some of it. I can’t really describe Zumba, though. I was learning at the time. And as for my sister, maybe I should write down little blurbs she says that are cute.
ANYWAY, instead of that stuff, you will hear about Pokemon. I have been playing Pokemon SoulSilver recently (read: all the time) and I am training to be a Pokemon master. It’s a big deal, you guys! I have the first 8 badges, and I need to catch the main legendary Pokemon in the game, Lugia. I already caught one of the legendary dogs, Raikou, which was lucky and awesome. So I’ll be off to the elite four soon to KICK SOME ASS. D<
But, yeah, boring boring boring. I know Aisling got HeartGold for her birthday, but did anyone else get the new Pokemon games? They’re a lot of fun and there is SO MUCH TO DO. Even if you didn’t get them, share your Pokemon experiences! Almost everyone has one.
ETA: I caught Lugia and beat the elite four. WOO. It’s off to Kanto.

Sounds like some good, relaxed times.
I saw this post title and knew it would be about Pokémon! Yay being correct.
My little sister used to be obsessed back when there were only 50 or something. I resented watching every episode and helping her play the games and etc. I don’t resent it anymore, and I’m kind of longing for it to happen again. Involuntary nostalgia ;__;

I’ve just restarted my Pearl game (well, restarted two weeks ago and beat it) and have been quite obsessed. Right now I am going to waste many hours of my life trying to breed for the “perfect” Magikarp so I can have the *perfect* Gyarados. :)

I haven’t played HeartGold and SoulSilver, I’ve only played the original generation two gameboy colour versions! Legendary dogs are SO DIFFICULT to catch (except Suicine in Pokemon Crystal — that’s easy). Raikou is definitely the coolest of the dogs, though. And Silver > Gold, because Lugia > Ho-Oh.
Good luck with becoming a ~*Pokemon Master*~! I’m currently re-playing FireRed and Ruby.
Reply: Actually, they’ve made it significantly easier to catch the dogs. Raikou and Entei both have trackers on your map, regardless of whether or not you’ve seen them. And Suicune just has his own story, so you run into him.

I am definitely going to beat you up. But emotionally, if that’s okay.
Um… I deleted my Ruby game by mistake. :| I’d extracted the ROMs to the desktop, and then I was cleaning my desktop, and I deleted it. So now I am not motivated to play anymore because I will never have Fredwin or Bob Dylan again.
