A Public Service Announcement
Alright, everyone, listen up. This is of the UTMOST IMPORTANCE. I am going impart some great advice upon all of you, and it will hopefully change your lives for the better.
Okay, so, listen.
Whatever you do, do not buy cheap garbage bags. You can cut corners pretty much anywhere else, but don’t cut corners when it comes to garbage bags! Never ever buy the bargain box penny bags that are so thin and awful and fall apart when you try to take them out. Or, sometimes they’ll rip where you’re holding them. If you have to, stop feeding your family. As long as you can get some decent garbage bags, it’s all good. Nothing is worse than having the garbage bag either tear and spill all over the floor or rip and fall on the floor (essentially spilling all over the floor). Nooooothiiiiing!
This has been a public service announcement, brought to you by the Awesome Blog. I’m Josh Hillmann and I approve this message.
Hello, my name's Josh and I might be a hipster (you decide!). I've been blogging and designing in some form for the past eight or so years and I think I'm starting to get the hang of it (once again, you decide!). I love indie music, coming of age stories, sarcasm, video games, and aesthetics. At the moment I'm working part-time and going to college with hopes of being a web designer.

Uhh, my brother takes out the garbage, but I will file this information away for when I live on my own. :P

We use grocery bags for garbage in our house, and we put those directly in our garbage bin. No problems with weak bags!

Grocery bags are strong, so that’s okay. :P They’re designed to hold groceries, so they hold up really well.

*takes notes*
But around here we have to buy garbage bags from the city (that way you already pay taxes on recycling) and the quality of those bags isn’t too bad. Luckily. Only the little string to close them… Ugh. It rips open the top of the bag most of the time.

I think I will just hire someone to take out my garbage for me, and if they use cheap crappy bags and it spills out, they can clean it up. Good idea y/y?

I approve!
I made the mistake of buying a different brand of garbage bags because they were cheaper (not the cheapest, but still). The top of the bag ripped on me, and it was incredibly difficult trying to keep all the trash in the bag. I’ve never skimped out on trash bags ever again!

I learned that too :( Thankfully, I was already outside.
Now my trick is to carry the garbage bin without taking out the bag~

Haha, I’ve had to learn that lesson myself, and it’s a sucky lesson.
